I've been loving spending time at Imperial NHS 💙 and London North West University Healthcare over the last month, lovely welcome from the vascular teams and great to finally be back in the land of corridor chats and bumping into people!! Commute is a killer though...

100% this and when people say "you make it look so easy" with no idea the chaos beneath the surface and the whole thing is hanging by a thread 😂

We can truly celebrate fathers and support mothers by recognising, expecting and valuing their contribution to family life, and paternity leave is an important part of this 👇

Shout out to amazing women I work with being open and honest - one saying nothing is as hard as the first 3 months with your first baby - one saying she never wanted kids, loves her life and no regrets ➡️nothing will change unless we are honest about our experiences 👏👏👏

Adding my big news to a week of big news.... we are expecting baby #2 in October! My maternity cover has just gone out- a great opportunity to work on sector wide acute change. Let me know if you want to chat! imperialcollegehealthpartners.com/vacancy/innova…

First day back at work today after a very special maternity leave. Half looking forward to it and half a video on loop in my mind of every mistake I have ever made

This is amazing! My husband is currently on unpaid parental leave. His contribution to care in our family is just as important as mine, so why is his unpaid? Shows we value men doing care work even less than the value we give to women doing it!

Is it true that as people get more senior they get less support, less time with managers and less development? For me it's really depending on role but I know it's true for a lot of people- why do we just expect people to struggle on?

When people ask who does childcare for my two boys whilst I am at work... people are SO SURPRISED when i say mostly their dad and some days their grandfather.

Looking to do some agile project management training- does anyone have any recommendations of a good training provider? I want to be challenged not bored!

Shout out to my GP - when I had a lump they gave me a same day face to face appointment and then 2 week wait referral to breast clinic. Excellent care from NHS North Central London ICB – Haringey and HHFT - pockets of amazing care in a struggling system
