Dixie Departs. Joint manager Adam Dix has decided to leave the club as the season ends. A top bloke, who has been instrumental in our survival since joining in October, we thank him for his efforts and wish his all the best for the future. #upthelyd

Smith stays! In a huge boost to the club, manager Lee Smith has committed as first team manager for the coming season. Warren Evans and Sean McKeon complete the management team for 25/26. Huge singings, let’s have a massive season! #upthelyd

The reserves finished their league campaign today with a comfortable win at home to English Bicknor. The result means Rich Godwins team finish 9th in the league, only missing out on 6th on goal difference. A great effort from all involved. #upthelyd

Training for both the First and Reserve teams starts on 12th June. We are an open, friendly club with fantastic facilities, 4 men’s senior teams, floodlit under 18s team and a close knit social club. If you’re considering your options for next season, get in touch!

If you’re looking for a man to score goals from midfield, re-wire your gaff, or give you furniture that extra shine, we’ve got your man! Skipper returns for 25/26! 📸 Brian Rossiter

I predict a Myatt (so many miles left in that yet!) Wonderkid Archie Myatt re-signs for 25/26! Burst onto the scene last season, and will continue his development at swan Road next season.

One player not returning next year is Mikkiel Graham. The solid full back joined for the back end of last season and was superb in the run in, impressing players and fans alike. Mikkiel is returning to the US, and our board are too tight to pay his travelling expenses.

Does anyone want to do our social media next year? We’ve built a decent little following (owing to my banging twits) and would like to offer the opportunity to an aspiring media guru to run this account, insta… take it where you will. Drop us a DM with your best joke.
