Are you at Futurebuild this week? Visit booth E11 to catch up with STAC cohort Soltropy Ltd.. Soltropy's patented solar thermal technology is an exciting innovation in the field of solar thermal water heating. #Futurebuild2022 #FilamentSTAC #PuttingScotlandOnTheMap

If you’re attending the WM Symposia in #Phoenix next week, be sure to drop by Booth 14 in the #TeamUK Pavilion to find out how passive #muography can transform radioactive waste management.

Our Business Development Manager (David Mahon) is all set for next week! #wms2022 WM Symposia

Ended the day of presentations with Gregor Aikman introducing STAC - Smart Things Accelerator Centre - inspiring stuff!

Great article and interview with David Mahon in the Financial Times about our pioneering work applying #muography to built infrastructure inspection.

Great interview be our very own David Mahon in Financial Times about muon technology by Lynkeos Technology „A tiny particle can travel through concrete. It could save many lives“

ICYMI: David Mahon of UofG PhysAstro and Lynkeos Technology is featured in this fascinating Financial Times piece about muography, which harnesses cosmic rays to allow scientists to see inside structures. Read the full piece here 👉 ft.com/content/c64f90…

DASA and the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority are pleased to announce that 10 innovative organisations have won a share of ÂŁ708k in funding. This will enable the development of innovations that help to monitor sensitive sites without the physical presence of humans. Read on ow.ly/5TNP50LrRUw

A University of Glasgow spin-out is one of ten organisations to receive funding to help clean up UK nuclear sites 🧹 Lynkeos Technology's technology harnesses cosmic rays to create non-invasive images of the interiors of structures 🏦 #ScotlandIsNow ow.ly/IpF550Lxkbs

Congratulations David Mahon! This is testament to our strong collaboration with Nuclear and Hadron Physics Glasgow United Kingdom National Nuclear Laboratory and University of Glasgow over the last 13(!!) years that has pioneered the development of #muography for nuclear waste inspection. 👏

Well done to David Mahon, his team at University of Glasgow and partners at United Kingdom National Nuclear Laboratory for scooping this award! We’re so proud to be working alongside both organisations to commercially exploit #muography within the UK nuclear industry.

"IAA funds the risky initial steps," says David Mahon. His innovative projects include spinout Lynkeos Technology & Compact Radiation Detectors. The IAA is a great opportunity for PDRAs to get a first grant, creates career opportunities, and is fast and ideal for exploring new ideas.

It was great to present at the UofG IAA - find us on BlueSky 🦋 Proposal Writing Masterclass today. Our Impact Accelerator Account has been an amazing source of support to apply our (Nuclear and Hadron Physics Glasgow & Lynkeos Technology) innovations to address real-world challenges. Thanks again for the invite Keith Dingwall!
