This really speaks to teaching and the amount of feedback students receive on assessment items. I wonder what would happen if we asked students "do you want feedback or just a grade?" Just saying

Step aside from the noise. Yes GenAI is interesting but start with what, where and why before how.

Indeed, the problem is students need to learn how to use it ethically but its is what they do after that, that's what matters
