A recent study published in Jama found that accumulating more steps per day just under the popular threshold of 10 ,000 steps per day and performing steps at higher intensity may be associated with lower risk of dementia onset. #dementiaprevention

To build & maintain healthy habits start small, both in terms of the number of behaviours that you target at a time, and in terms of the size/scope of those behaviours. The more often you repeat a behaviour, the faster a habit is established. Progress is the goal, not perfection.

Many hours spent in front of an electronic device can take a toll on the health of your eyes. Trouble with your eyes can strain your brain & if it has to work extra hard to make sense of what your eyes see, it can take a toll on cognitive function. #eyehealth #brainhealth
