A Daurian Shrike was a totally unexpected bird to see up in north Dorset at Gillingham today. It put on a great show for the gathered photographers.

After missing the Bempton bird as it left the night before we arrived to see it. It was only right that we popped up to Gillingham this afternoon to see this little beauty of a Daurian/Turkestan Shrike.
