Today our combined year 7 & 8 football team took part in the U13 @ntfc_community boys cup at Sixfields stadium. Unfortunately in football terms it wasn’t to be. A very slow start to the day proved costly and led us unable to get out of the group stage.

Yesterday, 14 lucky students had the incredible opportunity to take part in the annual DRET Athletics Development Day. The day was packed with expert guidance, with ex-Olympians and elite athletes in attendance. Among them was former MAA student Alice Bennett!!

20 DAYS TO GO till the DRET SUMMER CUP – our biggest athletics showdown of the year! Just 20 days until 11 secondary schools go head-to-head in a day full of speed, strength, and school spirit.

On Friday, students attended an exciting rewards trip at the David Ross Sports Village, University of Nottingham. Selection for the trip was by random name generator consisting of all students in GOLD across our student charter board.

Yesterday our athletes absolutely smashed the DRET time trials! 💥 Some amazing results and PBs in there 👏 After months of hard work, it’s great to start seeing the outcomes! 15 days until Summer Cup… let’s keep putting in the work! 🔥💪

Over the past two days, 14 of our amazing students from the DRET Sport Leadership Programme supported the MAPS Sports Day. We are incredibly proud of the leadership & teamwork, they demonstrated throughout — a fantastic showcase of their growing confidence and capabilities!
