On Sunday, an energetic crowd of 300 farmers and farm supporters gathered in Hadley, Massachusetts. Their mission: to call attention to the impacts of decisions made by the Trump Administration since January that are harming small and medium-sized farms.

This week the USDA notified Massachusetts K-12 that the FY25 Patrick Leahy Farm to School Grant Program + $3.4M in Emergency Food Assistance for MA food banks have been cancelled. These devastating cuts make no sense + are a continued assault on the future of our children.

Governor Maura Healey, urgent action is needed! Please introduce a supplemental budget to fully fund HIP now. Farmers are struggling to stay afloat. Families are experiencing worsening food insecurity. A fully funded HIP means healthier communities and a better future for MA. #FundHIP
