Joined Summer RISE students at @montgomerycollege Takoma Park today matched to participate with the Chemistry/Biology Department. Students are getting exposed to a wide variety of science based careers right in their backyards.

Got to spend some time during the first few weeks of the Summer RISE program with the @mcps_md TV team out capturing some of our sites and students in action. Can’t wait to see what they put together for us for this year’s closing ceremony!

Join our Summer RISE students in the lobby of the Student Services Building (Long Nguyen and Kimmy Duong Student Services Center, North Campus Drive, Rockville, MD 20850) for their debut of a custom menu item, The Summer RISE!

Summer RISE in action! Students came up with a signature drink called “The Summer RISE” and worked through the business process start to finish.

Another first for Summer RISE-a custom frozen Starbucks drink thought up by students placed with the MBI Cafe at Montgomery College . Awesome example of students and hosts making a meaningful experience through the program. Hope you met your goal!

Today was the MCPS MCPS - Summer RISE celebration! This summer our interns learned all about the field of education. A blessing to our classroom teachers and students. I was impressed to see some of my former SHES students there as well. Kudos to everyone!!!
