Yesterday, I met with 🇰🇭 @DPM_SCS FM of Combodia in #PhnomPenh to sign an agreement on development cooperation. 🇱🇮 will support 🇰🇭 to improve their Vocational education system. We also discussed the economic situation & the current geopolitical situation in the region.

The #CTHB24 focused on the prevention of #HumanTrafficking. #Liechtenstein pays special attention to applying the follow-the-money approach. This approach is of utmost urgency, given the growing amount of illegal profits that are generated each year.

In my capacity as Chair of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, I had an exchange with PACE, the advisory body of the #coe. Cooperation between PACE and the Presidency is crucial to ensure common principles of the Council of Europe and the effectiveness of its policies. 🙏 for the exchange

I also used my stay in #Strasbourg for Bilaterals. Among others with the Secretary General of the Council of Europe Marija Pejčinović Burić and Theodoros Rousopoulos.

A particularly important exchange for me also took place with a secondary school class from 🇱🇮. In the meeting room of the Committee of Ministers, where the foreign ministers and ambassadors normally decide on Council of Europe business, the pupils were given an insight into the organization.

Today's youth conference „confidence in tomorrow“ CoeYouth showed how intensively 🇪🇺 young people deal with the topics of war and peace, climate and environmental protection as well as #AI. The conference also focused on strengthening trust in democracy and human rights.

For the 75th anniversary of Council of Europe, @solliechtenstein performed various pieces at the @operadurhin. 🙏to Marija Pejčinović Burić, @ABaerbock, Theodoros Rousopoulos and 120 representatives of the youth conference "Confidence in Tomorrow". The youth is essential for a successful future of the Council of Europe.
