All I’ve seen here in the wake of today’s horror is Liverpudlians offering their cars, their apartments, their homes, their time, their contacts to take care of ppl stranded or unable to get home and that’s Liverpool. That’s the Liverpool that I know and love. The best ppl. ❤️💚

Liverpudlians/Scousers. Offering transport, shelter, food, showers, wifi. You lot are absolute class. Today was tragic, but I also got to experience the soul of Liverpool… and it’s beautiful.

The manner in which the city of Liverpool has reacted to such a tragedy tonight is genuinely inspiring. Completely understand why people say Scousers are the best people on Earth.

It’s troubling that more people’s first reaction to commotion now is to grab their phone to film what’s unfolding and share for engagement - than to help or afford dignity to those involved during what may be their final moments or them at their most vulnerable and in distress.
