🏅 Comeback Wrestler of the Year: Juett King 🔁👑 From injury to State Qualifier — Juett King’s sophomore season was the definition of resilience. After battling through a shoulder injury early in the year, Juett came back stronger than ever, capturing the District Championship

🤼‍♂️ Pin King: Jaxon Young 👑 When Jaxon Young steps on the mat, it usually doesn’t last long. With 14 of his 22 wins coming by pin, Jaxon racked up a 22-7 record and earned the title of Pin King for the season.

👑 Female Wrestler of the Year: Layla Lopez💛 Layla Lopez made history and left a legacy. Wrestling at 185 lbs, Layla led by example all season as a Team Captain, stacking up 25 wins, including 15 pins, and qualifying for the State Tournament

🏆 Wrestler of the Year: Gabe Cortez 🦁 Senior. Captain. Leader. Dawg. State Qualifier. Gabe Cortez capped off his final season as the undisputed heart of McKinney Wrestling. Competing at 113 lbs, he finished with a dominant 29-7 record, including 20 techs/pins.
