🥈STATE RUNNER-UP!🥈 Our girls brought the heat to the Kansas State Track & Field Championships, earning 64 points and securing 2nd place overall — just 6 points shy of the title! 🔥This marks our best finish since the 2002 STATE CHAMPIONSHIP team. So proud of their grit & heart!

In her final high school meet, Hanna Pellant showed why she’s one of Kansas’ all-time greats: • 4th in 100m (11.84) • 4th in 200m (24.48) • 🔥 ¼ of the record-smashing 4x100 team • 💪 Anchor in the 4x400 relay finale #mhstf25

Freshman Lauren Perry earned 8th in the 800m (2:19.21) AND ran a PR split of 2:17 in the 4x800 relay! She also helped power our 4x400 squad to the finals. #mhstf25

🔥 STATE CHAMPIONS. STATE MEET RECORD. FASTEST TIME IN KS HISTORY Michelle Jeje (Fr), Harli Omli (Sr), Hanna Pellant (Sr), and Sarah Oberreuter (So) ran 46.78 to dominate finals after setting a state meet record in prelims (46.73). 👑 Fastest 4x1 ever run by KS high school girls.

In the final race of the meet, this team left it all out there. Rebekah Pickering (Sr), Lauren Perry (Fr), Hanna Pellant (Sr), and Tianna Miller (Sr) battled tired legs and came away with 8th place in 4:07.88. 💖 #mhstf25

🔥 NEW SCHOOL RECORD 🔥 The Boys 4x800 Relay team torched the track with a time of 7:54.28, smashing a 2009 record of 7:56.63 set by Scott Nelson, Colin Rosenow, Reid Buchanan, and Kyle Thompson. Legacy-level performance. #mhstf25
