MCS would like to invite all of our Bluejackets and the Mitchell community to the official open house of our new facilities. This highly anticipated open house includes the new Field House. The open house will be Sunday, Dec. 17th from 2-4pm starting in the new Field House.

We want to wish football coach Kevin Kling all the best. He was officially hired Tuesday as the Assistant Principal at Mt. Carmel Grade School. He starts this July.

Did you know, two of the teams Mitchell's boys basketball team played this season are playing for a state title. Brownstown and Scottsburg will play for a class 2A and 3A state title in Indianapolis, respectively. Mitchell athletes, don't think this can't be you one day.

Former MHS coach reflects on his career

In loving memory of “the big guy” Johnny Henderson. It’s been 4 years since his passing. He was a mentor and an even better friend, not just to me but to do many others. I miss you, Big Guy, we all do but we rejoice in knowing you're in a better place.
