In this one, measures of lower-limb muscle power were associated with frailty and adverse health events, including hospitalizations and disability in activities of daily living, in older adults.

In this one, a high-intensity resistance and impact training intervention was found to be safe and more effective than aerobic training for improving gait speed in older adults with obesity undertaking dietary weight loss.

In this one, a 12 week low-volume HIIT intervention, especially when combined with walking > 10000 steps/day, led to improved glucose control and adaptations in skeletal muscle that are important for metabolic health in individuals with prediabetes.
