Today is the power of youth day #iwill and we continue to celebrate our volunteers. Niall delivered PPE gear. Jack and Lizzie tirelessly collected donations and with Luke sorted through them for stock. Roxy was in the shop and Macualey is our newest and he is smashing his course

Progressing through the pandemic Make it happen brought countless people together for a great cause. Our Diane, Gary, John and Reg have also been active volunteers before and during the past year. Showing that all are young at heart ! #VolunteersWeek2021

Our tour of the #MerseyGreenMap takes us to Make it Happen - Birkenhead. Make it Happen - Birkenhead is a pay as you feel shop, social supermarket and community hub. Donations of food and clothing are saved from being thrown away and are distributed to customers and community groups.

We have loads of food in the shop today. The freezer and fridges are packed with ready meals, icecream, fresh veg and cheese. On the shelves there is fresh bakery bread and there is more corriander than we have ever seen 😂. #Food

As we begin our day of celebration for those on the ESF project our shop is open and busy. The radio is blastong out the summer tunes and everyone is feelin the positive vibes. Our girl is wearing this mornings donation of the unicorn rays ! #unicorn #Summer2021

The international section of the shop has been stocked. We have fresh halal meats including whole chickens, minced beef and steaks. There is a fridge soley dedicated to this. Also in are tins, handmade cookies, figs and turkish delight. #halal
