Long before the convenience of bakery chains, things used to look something like this - you didn't even have to leave home to get one. The bad news? It was less 'takeaway' and more, 'Wait until I say you can have one!' Woe betide anyone who tried to sneak one without permission😀

We are very grateful to the family of Roy Pink, who have donated his Penny Farthing to us. These bicycles were sometimes called Ordinary bikes, but as you can see, there is nothing very ordinary about this! It will be on display soon.

A long time before streaming, downloads and TV on the go, entertainment used to look a little bit like this...it's still that way in our Street of Shops - take a peek the next time you visit us. And who remembers listening booths in record stores, and the television repair shops?
