Announcement time: I am thrilled to share with you all that I will be joining the linguistics department at Hebrew University as a Senior Lecturer (Assistant Prof), starting Spring 24. I'll be sad to leave here. But I am VERY excited to start my own lab. And to do so back home, in Israel!

Very pleased to see this article in print! In a study with 2000 subjects, we track how people read syntactically complex sentences, and find that word predictability estimated from language models does a poor job of explaining the human data. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

Paper alert!📢 Titus von der Malsburg and I looked hard into agreement attraction configurations in grammatical sentences, and, against all probability, found stable attraction effects in 3 experiments: authors.elsevier.com/sd/article/S07…. Why did we find the effects when 30+ other studies failed to?
