Second lab tweet to honour past pledges.📢 Behold the latest work from the lab led by Martin Carbó Tano and Mathilde Lapoix at the Paris Brain Institute in collaboration with Rejean Dubuc!! We are extremely happy to share this amazing story with you all 🎉🥳 Happy reading!

Great achievement from talented postdoc Martin Carbó Tano and grad student Mathilde Lapoix who identified the mesencephalic locomotor region (MLR) in zebrafish & uncovered how MLR drives forward locomotion by recruiting V2a reticulospinal neurons in the medulla !!

📢Major achievement from one of the #Zenith labs! Kudos to Martin Carbó Tano & Mathilde Lapoix for this outstanding work with the contribution of our own Zenith student Cilia Jia (#proud😊). Check out their findings on the control of locomotion by the MLR and V2a RSNs in #zebrafish !

Next Tuesday it's all about Spinal - Sensory - Signaling when Claire Wyart will talk about how sensory inputs are integrated in the spinal cord during development and locomotion! 🧠 ▶️ Register: crowdcast.io/e/brainbody-wy…

Mathilde Lapoix Mathilde Lapoix Poster title: V2a reticulospinal neurons in the medulla encode speed and duration of exploratory locomotion Board number: S02-580 Poster session 02 - SECTION: MOVEMENT: BRAINSTEM AND VESTIBULAR CONTROL Poster date/time: 10-07-2022, 14:00 - 17:30

Which neural circuits make vertebrates move forward, faster and change direction ? Excited to share our answers with Martin Carbó Tano today afternoon at #FENS2022 !! Come chat at poster S02-580 & S02-584!!

Very greatful for the opportunity to give my very first talk as Dr Lapoix to share the story we put together with Martin Carbó Tano ! Such a great experience to finally meet the motor control community in person at pre-#FENS2022 symposium. Thank you Julien and team!

Junior fellows: sign up for the 2023 MOTOR CONTROL school EPFL! Amazing opportunity for training & vibrant discussions with S Arber, G Courtine Mackenzie Mathis, PhD @CristinWelle, Brian D. McCabe, Carl Petersen, Pavan Ramdya & Wyart Lab ! excited to be part of this FENS initiative🐬
