H.E. Nataša Pirc Musar, the President of the Republic of Slovenia, has arrived in Kenya for a three-day State Visit. She was received by the Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, H.E. Dr. Musalia Mudavavadi

Musar highlighted the shared priorities for sustainable economic growth, biodiversity protection, scientific development, and tackling common problems which President Ruto urged remained critical for the realisation of (BETA) in the country’s development.

President Musar toured the Wire Forest Station in Homa Bay and engaged with members of the Wire Forest Management Association (WIFOMA) CFA, commending their innovative and sustainable income-generating activities.

She also visited the United Nations Office at Nairobi and participated in a climate resilience forum at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. She concluded her visit with a visit to Kewat Industries Ltd, a manufacturing company in Nairobi.

As Kenya’s ambassador to Slovenia it has been humbling and fulfilling to have her visit Kenya.
