Bringing language to life through a visit to the Gymnasium Wolbeck in Münster. The ‘Stunde der offenen Tür’ allowed us to pop into lessons and see what it’s like on a German classroom. We’ve made some great friends!

During this week's Culture Club, we have been finding out about the German Easter tradition of decorating eggs! We made our own Easter tree, which you can now see in our main reception area. Well done everyone and frohe Ostern!' #proudtobeblue

Our students have also recently visited Cologne 🇩🇪 They met up with their German pen pals and visited lessons in their school. They visited a chocolate museum and enjoyed a skyline river cruise. There was lots of time to shop, visit the cathedral, and practice speaking German!

Year 8 German pupils are embracing culture this week and have been inspired by the life of Franz Marc, who was a leading figure of German Expressionism.
