1/3 Great thanks to our ESU team who successfully executed 7 high-risk knock & announce warrants last week! As a result of the warrants the Emergency Services Unit executed, detectives with our Violent Offender Task Force (VOTF) were able to arrest multiple individuals.

On this cold day, let us remember when it was warmer recently and CSOs Rosar and Greschner were able to spend the day bringing unclaimed/abandoned bikes recovered from our office to Bikes4Kids. Bikes4Kids refurbishes bikes and then gives them to those who are in need.

After more than 33 years, Wayne Betcher, a respected supervisor in the ECC of the GCSO, is retiring. As he embarks on this next chapter, we celebrate his contributions and thank him for his decades of service. His legacy will continue to inspire the future of our dispatch center.

Yesterday morning, a Maple Grove officer was on scene of a vehicle crash when he was hit from behind while seated in his squad. The officer suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The officer was treated and several hours later released

A missing vulnerable person was found safely thanks to Deputy Briguet’s thorough search and compassion. During the search, Deputy Briguet followed footprints and located the missing 18-year-old female in gravel piles. He then safely returned her home and provided medical aid.
