Bins for fruit and veg have now been placed in the Birkdale area - at every home in Zone A, and every 400m and at exits in Zone B. The bins are for safe disposal of produce, and allow our scientists to examine it for any traces of fruit fly. Read more: bit.ly/4k7E7w0
