An inquisitive #baskingshark came right up to our kayak as Alina Wieczorek was collecting plankton and microplastic samples in Keem bay to investigate diet and exposure to microplastics by these large filter feeders. Save Our Seas


Yesterday was a great day for team Smallest Plastics and the Largest Fish as we spotted over 60 #baskingsharks around Achill Island. Well done Wild Island Pictures on this amazing footage which we will use for our outreach programme and documentary. Save Our Seas
