Our NW8 community coffee morning, today attended by a West Hampstead lady. She told of her barking dog pointed to the mysteriously opened unlocked back door last evening while at home. She was surprised at our verdict; that a burglary report was needed here for this encounter.

I wonder if Kingsgate Community Centre, ‘brought out of mothballs’ for the London Mayor Election; will be used again 6 weeks from today?

A busy couple of days of patrolling the Ward. Updating Ward Panel Supporters on the latest goings on in Kilburn High Rd; Coffee morning; half term children activities across the ward, despite the weather and helping to monitoring people on bail who are not keeping to conditions.

Attended One Kilburn meeting – heard of all the projects on the go. The Family Hub support for those in most need. Restoring lost mobile phone to owner & a found sharp blade safely off the street. A few recent items. We value public support encouraging the report of any issues

Our brave senior manager joined the team on patrol today. Pictured on Abbey Rd. Although the Superintendent has been out in Camden Town aswell as Euston Rd; he soon found himself in the middle of an arrest, as we set foot on the Kilburn High Rd. Lunch break was postponed again.

Joined members of CAWH, today on a West Hampstead walkabout in the hot sun. Advertising the #LookUpLookOut prevention campaign. On the day when a ‘Fagin’ type character boasts on National TV about making with his group, a daily 5 figure sum from the proceeds of #Phonesnatching.

Another successful patrol for West Neighbourhood Officers on patrol in late evening. They gave foot chase to suspects who fled on sight of police, from an Abbey Rd estate, while trying to change the number plates on a stolen Lexus motor vehicle. Vehicle now with its owner again.

Early start today to catch up with a resident wanted for multiple offences. Only made possible through search of systems & trawl of CCTV. But a big thank you to our public. Sorry 4 not being around much yesterday. We covered security at 15 local polling stations on the big day.
