Friendly Bottle Shop Update!! Under the guidelines announced by Welsh Government effective Friday October 23rd 6pm we will still be able to carry on as we currently have been.

The Belgian Love Affair continues! Tilquin has dropped their latest small batch seasonal on us, Groseille A Maquereau 2019-20. We have only 12 bottles across the two stores, to purchase one, it must be in conjunction with another bottle of Tilquin from our epic takeaway range.

Like Albariño?? Well hot damn if this isn’t the BEST expression of the grape we’ve had on the shelves. Unbelievably it was cropped onto underperforming Cabernet vines in 2018 and took immediately to produce a 2019 vintage. That’s not even the best part.....

I don't know how to tweet this without sounding like a sanctimonious prick, but I'm truly disgusted by the number of people I know breaking Tier 4 rules. Do you think you're exempt because you drink oat milk lattes? The stupidity is stunning.

IMPORTANT JANUARY OPENING HOURS UPDATE!!! We appreciate all the support of 2020, it was an exhausting and testing time. Not once did we cease trading during the whole series of lockdowns and we managed to open our third site. All only possible with your choice to support local.

So as a result after today we will be taking just a couple of extra days off before resuming our new “normal” trading pattern of Tuesdays to Saturdays. We have future goals of getting the shops back open on a Sunday when we grow our team.

What this does mean though, is TODAY is your last chance to stock up for the week ahead as we won’t be open again until Friday the 15th. Our home delivery service will resume on Tuesday the 19th of the month for those needing it.

It is totally unsurprising, but always concerning, to see yet another example of how lies and deceit have become fully normalised at BrewDog. They stated that our claims were outdated and that they are a different business now, but this proves otherwise. theguardian.com/business/2021/…

Positives to take from this latest sham? 1) This might result in more people believing us when we say this is absolutely standard practice at BrewDog. 2) It might make BrewDog slow down, cut the crap, and use this as an opportunity to do better in the future.
