We’ve had a busy week. Wednesday our young ringers met, 2 groups and we were joined by Clive Lewis MP. As well as introducing him to change ringing we were proud to tell him about our heritage. The 1st peal in 1715, beautiful bells dating back to 1775 & some fascinating stories.

Our bellringers this morning (introducing PH & our absolute beginners) were treated to Ashley Grote playing our wonderful Collins organ St Peter Mancroft. Did we hear Carillon de Westminster? How appropriate. 🔔 sounded amazing. Come to the lunchtime concert today 🎵 🔔.

There certainly isn’t a shortage of people willing to ring our beautiful bells in Norfolk. It’s having the skills to teach. Luckily in Norwich we have a purpose built training centre. We have young ringers groups, students and we are busy!! If you’d like to ring get in touch.

If you’re looking for something during half term come and see how bell ropes are made and try bellringing. Did you know the first peal was rung at St Peter Mancroft in Norwich on 2nd May 1715. Bellringing is huge fun and appeals to those who enjoy numbers and puzzles.
