This week's Lacrosse Elite Prospect Camp showcased some of the best rising 7th, 8th, and 9th graders. They gathered for intense conditioning and training, while also having fun and creating new friendships on the field!

Our Advanced Placement scores for 2025 were our best ever! A record-high 95.45% of students earned a passing score of 3 or higher on at least one AP exam! In addition, with 106 AP Scholars, we exceeded our previous record by 14 students! Read more at msjnet.edu/apscores.

Our Baseball Player Development Camp wrapped up earlier this summer. Rising 5th, 6th, and 7th graders learned the fundamentals of fielding, throwing, and hitting from our varsity coaching staff!

Students had the opportunity this summer to visit and tour Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital for career exploration. They were able to see the Emergency Department, ICU, and Physical/Occupational Therapy. We are proud of our Gaels for exploring future pathways in healthcare!

Students in our Fire Protection Engineering Camp participated in University of Maryland's Fire Protection Design/Engineering Challenge. In addition to providing an introduction to Fire Protection Engineering, the program introduces students to creative design and construction.

This summer's soccer camp was a success! Rising 5th through 10th grade players showed up, trained hard, and had fun while doing so.

During their week-long summer research experience, our Genetic Engineering Campers used cutting-edge tools to grow and genetically modify bacteria!

Our campers had a ball at this summer's Basketball Complete Player Camp! Led by our varsity basketball coaching staff, players strengthened their basketball skills and learned the fundamentals of the game.

This summer's Environmental Leadership Camp gave students the opportunity to participate in a three-day, overnight trip to Smith Island. Leaders from the Chesapeake Bay Foundation shared their knowledge about the ecosystems, history, and culture of Smith Island.

Football Camp was full of fun this summer! Rising 3rd-9th graders learned the core fundamentals of football, led by our varsity coaching staff and members of our program.

Students in this summer's First Tech Challenge (FTC) Robotics Camp designed, built, programed, and drove robots with FIRST® Tech Challenge (FTC) approved kits. With current MSJ mentors, they were able to create a robot of original concept and objective!

Middle School Leadership Camp offered an opportunity this summer for students to grow outside of the classroom in a fun and challenging environment. Rising 7th, 8th, and 9th graders spent three days attending seminars, small group discussions, and team-building activities.

It's Watermelon Day! When the Xaverian Brothers first arrived in the U.S. from France in 1854, they traveled from NY to KY, arriving on August 11. Hungry and tired after their journey, they came upon a generous woman who gave them a watermelon to eat.
