There is no strike by train staff in Wales under a Labour Government. There are in England under the Conservatives. Grant Shapps needs to get his act together, get around the table and get a deal. That’s what Labour would do.

Flying home with Ryanair to Manchester. Hundreds waiting at baggage collection with no sign of luggage or any staff. Plane at T3, customers at T1 and no answers. Its 3am, kids sleeping on the floor, taxis waiting and nobody has a clue how long we'll be here. 2 hours so far

Labour believes in breaking down the barriers to opportunity, for each of us and for all of us. We will build a Britain where background will be no barrier. Today Keir Starmer & I are setting out Labour’s Mission on Opportunity. 👇🏻

It's a disgrace that rail companies are proposing the closure of ticket offices. Visually impared and disabled travellers, among others, rely on staff to be able to travel. This proposal unfairly removes access to public transport for thousands of people and should be opposed.

We welcome last week's defence agreement with Australia and today's ten-year plan for Barrow to support AUKUS. The AUKUS partnership between the UK, US, and Australia is our most important strategic alliance beyond NATO. It has our fullest Labour support.

Announcing Labour’s new ‘triple-lock’ commitment to the UK’s nuclear submarine programme, Keir Starmer committed to: building four new nuclear submarines at Barrow, to maintaining Britain’s continuous at-sea deterrence, and to all future upgrades needed
