Today Ms. Rosemirta Birungi successfully defended her PhD thesis Makerere University CAES and was recommended for the award of a PhD in Agricultural & Rural Innovations of Makerere University. Congz to her & the supervisors Dr. Kyazze & Dr. Matsiko. Richard Asaba Bagonza of @Mak_SWGS was the opponent.
As we officially re-open the Ivory Tower tomorrow, the 2 additions on the bus fleet Makerere University, have also landed. We wish to congratulate the Government of Uganda, the University Council and the University Management, for building for the future.
Management & staff of CAES congratulate all students who will be graduating tomorrow, 17th January 2025, the final day of Makerere University 75th graduation ceremony. Overall, Makerere University CAES will present 562 graduands. Of these 19 will graduate with PhD, 97 Masters, 11 PGD, & 435 Bachelors.
Dr Steven Lwasa, Dr Patrick Musinguzi, & Dr Joshua Wanyama from Makerere University CAES announced as the overall Best Teachers Makerere University during the 75th graduation ceremony held from 13th-17th January 2025.
Principal Makerere University CAES Prof Gorettie Nabanoga & staff, reps from Mak Internal Audit & HRD, Head DARS rep & Farm Manager Makerere University Agricultural Research witnessed the handover of the Office of Director Makerere University Agricultural Research from Dr Okello Cyrus Ongom to Dr Peter Ebanyat. Congz Dr Ebanyat & thank you Dr. Okello for job well done.
Makerere University VC, Prof. Barnabas Nawangwe has today handed over 3 brand new buses to the Principals of Makerere University CAES , CoVAB, & Makerere University College of Health Sciences. The buses meant to ease mobility of students & staff were purchased with funding from the Government of Uganda.

The Vice Chancellor Makerere University represented by the First Deputy Chancellor, Academic Affairs, Prof. Buyinza Mukadasi commissions the refurbished Main Entrance Gate at MUARIK. The refurbishment was done by students from Makerere University CAES & Makerere University CEDAT.
