Toronto is halting increasing development charges which is nice, but let’s be honest, a pat on the back for not making a bad situation worse is ridiculous. It’s time to cut DC’s in order to make new housing more affordable. It’s the right thing to do. Cc: Republic #CANT

Boomers have most of their net worth tied to the value of their home. Young people struggle to afford those homes, and behind them we have fertility rates plummeting so there will be even fewer of the next generation to buy the homes….This is a big problem needing solving

Can’t agree with his philosophy on humanity, but evidently when it comes to housing he is bang on, with the most obvious statement of all time. Canada Mark Carney please take note.
