Today the Nursery Children harvested the rhubarb from our garden. They measured and compared the length before tasting it and making delicious rhubarb crumble! Yum!

Year 1 had a fantastic time at their workshare. They worked with their grown ups to make wind socks, linked to their science learning on the seasons and weather. Well done year 1!

The Travelling Book Fair is coming to Macaulay from Friday 17th May until Thursday 23rd May. There are over 200 books for the children to choose from and will be open for families to browse every day from 3:15pm – 3:45pm in the playground. Don't miss out!

To conclude their History topic on 'How did we learn to fly?' the Year 2 class had such fun celebrating their heroes of flight day. We also invited our parents and carers to join us for a rocket making workshare. Check out some of the creations!

We had a fantastic World Book Day UK 📚 in school! There were so many fantastic costumes. We really enjoyed paired reading with different classes, and listening to authors read their books to us too. What a fantastic day! 📚

We had the best day in school celebrating Red Nose Day🔴The children showed off lots of incredible moves for our danceathon and have been so generous raising lots of money for Comic Relief! Well done everyone!

Year 2 had a fantastic day out BrockwellGreenhouses. They enjoyed learning about the edible garden and tasting some plants!

Year 1 and 2 really enjoyed seeing Louise Bourgeois' Maman sculpture at the Tate Modern today. We had learned all about it in class so it was amazing to see it in person!
