Nice to see a BIG cherry picker with high level platform taking part in an inspection of the high level stonework on the former Glasgow Herald Building on #Glasgow’s Buchanan Street. The pedimented dormers are quite exposed so it’s worth regularly checking their integrity 🤔👍!

Terrible news about the cancellation of Aye Write and Wee Write. Times are tough but the lack of will to sustain a flagship event in Scotland’s largest city is wretched, and casts a shadow over the whole sector.

Glasgow is a city of stories and storytellers. It is so wrong that Glasgow's book festival has been cancelled with just weeks to go. Aye Write is one of Scotland's biggest and most beloved book festivals - it is vital for readers and writers across Scotland and beyond.
