What an incredibly powerful figure on association between palliative care and healthcare utilization for multiple non-cancer serious illnesses. #palliativehepatology

Creating psychological safety is critical for our learners. Every team I work with hears me say “I don’t know” on day 1–a small step to show trainees it’s okay for them to say it too.

One of the most impactful pieces of advice from an attending this year: be conscious of how much you say “sorry.” Not knowing something is not a reason to apologize. Asking a question is not a reason to apologize. Asking for help is definitely not a reason to apologize.

Never seen this in a primary team’s note before but so nice to feel appreciated by our colleagues—will have to use some version of this myself in the future! @mghfc MGH Med-Peds

Can’t express strongly enough the immense pride I felt reading this nurse’s note today. So lucky to work with colleagues who always try to “meet patients where they are” MassGeneral Medicine

Read the entire court document. What #DrDennar endured was absolutely unacceptable. We must do better and we must demand better for our residents, for our colleagues, and for our patients.

So excited for V. G. Press, the amazing mentor and friend who taught me how to be a researcher and inspired me to become the med-peds doc and mentor I am today. Congrats!!

Students don't need a perfect teacher. Students need a happy teacher, who's gonna make them excited to come to school and grow a love for learning.
