For those looking to replicate my highly-effective dating strategy, launch into a lecture on why nuclear energy is the key to human abundance within the first ten minutes It’ll captivate the husband-material types and neatly filter out the rest

Looking forward to working with Chancellor Merz to help him fulfill his promise to the German people to restart any of Germany's nuclear reactors that can still be saved. It's at least 11 by our most recent count. See you all in Berlin on May 22nd for Anschalt-Konferenz!

Once we fully repeal the nuclear moratorium in Illinois, I hope the Pope comes and blesses the first new reactor as a Bishop did for the Dresden plant in the 1950s.

Massachusetts is repealing its nuclear moratorium. As a Chicagoan, I can't believe they're going to beat us to a full repeal. "This Bill would repeal the 1982 law that mandates that any proposed new nuclear facility receive approval through a statewide ballot initiative."

This is a bad take. China’s first AP1000s struggled almost as badly. Now, they are getting cranked out on a 4-year schedule. We started to see the same learning curve at home after just one unit: Vogtle 4 finished faster than Vogtle 3. Totally agree we can’t afford

For decades, Germany pressured other European countries to follow its lead and shut down their reactors. This reversal is a big deal. The next step? Turning inward. Germany still has reactors that can—and should—be refurbished and restarted within a few years. I’m heading

Last year, the Illinois grid operator PJM held an auction for electricity capacity, and prices spiked to their highest price in history due to politically-mandated closures of reliable power plants. Beginning June 1, ComEd ratepayers will pay ~18% more per month on their bills

Andrew Cuomo was directly responsible for creating a massive hole in New York’s electricity supply—and now he’s doubling down, defending that disastrous and idiotic decision. He was wrong then, and he’s wrong now. Indian Point provided reliable, round-the-clock power that met
