Congrats to Community Education Officer Bernadette Galvez, who earned her 35-year service pin! Bernadette is the longest-serving member of MFD and is arguably the most well-known. Madison is safer because of Bernadette, and our department wouldn't be the same without her!

All of us at the Madison Fire Department wish you a safe and happy July 4 weekend! 🇺🇸 When it comes to fireworks, remember the only legal products in Madison are snaps, caps, snakes, and sparklers. Use them safely and let them cool completely before throwing them in the trash.
