Believing that people who work full-time should be able to afford housing and food with their paycheck is not radical. Every job should pay a living wage.

100% I come from writers. None of them published. Being published doesn’t make me any more of a writer than them any more than it makes my stories more important than theirs.

11 months after we said goodbye, as the leaves begin to turn calico, I find myself crying more easily, missing Mina. Im grateful for the little weirdo in the last picture coming to chase away my sadness. But I will never not miss my girl.

Having OCD, I struggle w/ social media, feeling posts need to be ā€œjust rightā€ So I’m doing some videos as an exposure, proving to myself that w/o preplanning I can post them & it won’t be the end of the world. I also want represent honesty & imperfection on social media.

Day 3 of my challenge. Ever have one of those sucker punch mental health days?ā€ This one was tough. I filmed it four times and then reminded myself that the whole point of this was to be honest and imperfect. I deleted all, but the first take and kept myself honest.

I have no problem with everything leading back to my mental health. I’m passionate about it. It took me most of my life to talk about it. And I feel like we don’t have enough voices sharing experience of navigating the world with mental illness. But we are also more than that.
