Fascinating study from UK Biobank profiling 3000 proteomic signatures from >50,000 folks. "An aged brain 3X Alzheimer’s disease (AD) risk, a youthful brain ⬇️ 75%. Effect sizes comparable to APOE genotype (strongest genetic risk factor for sporadic AD). rdcu.be/eycFt
