The roof at the Ontario Science Centre has more integrity than the Ford government’s story for permanently closing it. It absolutely can, and should, be fixed and reopened to the public. Our fight to save it continues at Toronto city council this week.

1. The Ontario Line starts here, why did they pick this location if it’s “sleepy”? 2. The Auditor General report noted teachers are 50% less likely to visit the new location 3. Ford is moving the Science Centre to Ontario Place to justify the MegaSpa & parking #topoli #onpoli

It’s bad enough Doug Ford wasted $1B getting booze in the corner store one year earlier. Now he is spending millions advertising his new website to help us find the booze. It’s not booze that we need to find… It’s a family doctor for the 2.5 million Ontarians that need one.

Just heard Doug Ford's newest radio ad. Do Ontarians really want Highway 413 that will destroy precious green space and cost billions? Or do we want a well-funded education system, affordable housing, and "faster, safer, easier" access to healthcare? #onpoli #MakeBetterChoices

“There is a physician shortage”: The Ford government claimed Ontario had enough doctors. Then an arbitrator ordered the government to disclose its data, and found that the government knows full well there is a huge shortage, especially in rural/northern Ontario #onpoli #ONhealth

Ford likes to brag about his beer & wine “deal” - which cost us millions of dollars. It is astounding that they can fast-track alcohol while 1199 ERs closed last year. Ontario. You deserve better. #onpoli

A helpful suggestion for the Doug Ford government to consider: Just because one uses the term “evidence-based”, doesn’t mean what they’re doing is evidence-based. In order for something to be evidence-based, one must base their decision on actual evidence.

Rather than once again meddling in municipality’s decisions, Doug Ford should focus on the many provincial priorities he’s neglected including health care and housing. He’s not the mayor of Toronto, he’s the premier and he should remember that. thestar.com/news/doug-ford…

While we watch from across the border, hoping that xenophobia and far right extremism doesn’t win there tomorrow, I’m grateful to the many dozens of volunteers who’ve joined us to ensure that type of politics doesn’t find a foothold right here in Toronto’s Don Valley West today.

One more question for Doug Ford- Given that your government is currently under criminal investigation by the RCMP for corruption, why should the people of Ontario trust you?

🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨 Ontario Conservative Premier Doug Ford, tells an American audience, the new Prime Minister of Canada, Mark Carney “understands finances like no other person”

BREAKING: In an unbelievable moment, Karoline Leavitt is fact checked in real time, schooled by an AP reporter "Have you ever paid a tariff? I have. They don’t get charged on foreign countries." This is the kind of pushback we need to see more of.

Mark Carney (@markjcarney) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Thanks for the breakfast meeting, Premier Doug Ford — and for standing up for Ontario. We’ve got a big fight ahead of us, and we’ll be working together every step of the way. We’re strongest when we’re united.
