Woke up and the first thought still in my head is, “Wow. I love this team.” Resilience through adversity. Unwavering character. So grateful I got a whole season of playing the greatest game on earth with the greatest people on earth.

Abby Roth’s “One Play” shows her skill as a player & person. Due to injury, Abby had the rare opportunity to play with both her sisters at the same time. Having her younger sister up to varsity for the game, Abby was thriving in the moment. Lots of big plays, all driven by love.

Grace Roth’s “One Play” comes from a game we don’t win w/out her. Only 7 players healthy, Grace plays on a sprained ankle swollen like a balloon. Not many would have played, but she knocked down open looks, passed to open teammates, & rebounded out of her area. Winning plays!

BCAM published its list of Outstanding Senior Student-Athletes today. These are players that played 4 years of HS basketball and maintained a GPA of 3.8 or higher. Let’s just say the Roth’s were “higher.” Congrats to Abby and Grace Roth!! Dedicated on the court and classroom!

There are no amount of words to describe how much I have enjoyed the growth, commitment, and unity that these young women have displayed this summer. Concluding our summer with a trip to Torch Lake and Gaylord Team Camp. Grateful for these athletes and inspired about the future!
