My department at OSU is now hiring for two computational faculty slots -- this is a chance to join a thriving computational mass spec community! "Omics" call at any rank: osu.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/OSUCaree… Metabolomics informatics tenure-track Assistant Professor: osu.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/OSUCaree…

At BIOS | Arizona State University we are looking for a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure track Assistant Teaching Professor position for marine biology and marine ecology programs provided at ASU BIOS, based full time in Bermuda, starting this summer!! Check it at bios.asu.edu/careers/

Senior Researcher Dr Tommy Ryan-Keogh attended the science planning workshop. He is co-leading Chapter 3 of the Biogeoscapes science plan and a SSC member. This science plan will hopefully shape what the future of ocean biogeochemistry research looks like over the coming decades.

So fun to join the Bens on the Proteomics Podcast this week talking about applying proteomics to oceanography (metaproteomics) to study biogeochemical cycles, using robots @bgcauv to get samples, scaling to Biogeoscapes, metalloproteomics, and even my rock band Deep Six.

Come see my poster at #ASMS2024 for some fresh data on subcellualr protein localization in a marine microbe using Thermo Fisher’s Orbitrap-Astral. Work done at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) Mak Saito Chemical Currencies of a Microbial Planet (C-CoMP)

Great workshop and discussions here at ASMS with Pratik Jagtap and metaproteomics colleagues.

On the next episode of GEN live, I'll chat with Lindsay K Pino - @[email protected] and @neely615 about #proteomics-as a tool and a field. What research is proteomics enabling? What about the technology-MS and emerging technologies? Why is it hot right now? Join us! Register 👇 genengnews.com/multimedia/is-…

Had a wonderful time teaching in the 2024 Coastal Ocean Environment Summer School in Ng & Gh Coastal Ocean and Environment Summer School in Nigeria and Ghana, last week in Lagos Nigeria, contributing a new 'omics tutorial supported by @Biogeoscapes with Katie Roche (URI). Thanks to all the organizers and students!

New paper out in collaboration with Natalie Cohen @nekton4plankton and others. First section by Clio the BGC AUV clio AUV combining multi-omics and micronutrients. Biogeoscapes

Our study intercomparing results from proteomics labs on ocean samples is out. Consistency across labs and lessons were learned are shared. These are necessary efforts for comparing ocean diagnostic data across time and space. Thanks to the study contributors.Biogeoscapes
