I saw Costa-Gavras' "Z" - Bleakly funny, breakneck pacing, bravura editing. Sharp and absurd and fucked up and one of the best political thrillers ever. Tragically relevant. It's streaming on Criterion and HBO, watch that shit. 5 stars. letterboxd.com/film/z/

I saw the new Superman movie and in a little bit I’m gonna see the race car movie and you know what I’ll see the new zombie movie tomorrow. Might have to wait on the dinosaur movie.

Toxic Crusaders #1 drops September 10. This won't be a Saturday morning cartoon. Artist Tristan Wright and I are pushing mutant madness and eco-body horror. Pre-order it from your comic shop and you'll have a copy when people start talking about Tristan's pages.

Ensign Pike. A little style idea that popped into my head while watching the new season of SNW - since TOS is infused with 1960’s style, would Pike’s early Starfleet years be art deco futuristic?
