At the #Musenyi site, almost 18,000 Congolese refugees, 53% of them children, are in urgent need of aid! UNICEF Burundi needs $16.8 M, as contribution to the national response plan, to meet essential needs in water, hygiene & sanitation, nutrition, education & child protection.

Grâce au soutien de la Banque mondiale, UNICEF équipe 80 structures sanitaires de réfrigérateurs solaires. 28 sont déjà opérationnels. Ces équipements assurent une meilleure conservation des vaccins et garantissent leur disponibilité en quantité suffisante.

#WorldRefugeeDay, nous rendons hommage aux rêves et au talent des enfants réfugiés. Pontien est membre du club de dessin de l’Espace ami des enfants du camp de réfugiés de Musenyi, un espace soutenu par UNICEF, où les enfants peuvent apprendre, créer et s’exprimer.

4 écoles ont reçu des latrines rénovées dans le cadre d’un programme d’amélioration de l’hygiène en milieu scolaire.
