The end of a season exploring The Bible in different ways with BrianClarkeAcademy. Their response to all that they had taken from it, to make "Peace Packs" for each other and the school, with gifts to pray and worship with inside. Youthscape @ManchesterDYO Manchester DBE

Come along to Oldham Parish Church as we gather to consider what the Nativity story would look like in 2024. Re-design the stable, ask questions, compile a mum and baby shopping list. Oh, and there will be pizza from PLY at The Egyptian Room! @ManchesterDYO BCS Oldham Chaplaincy Jenny

Thankful for this view that I get to walk beside with my boy on the way to and from school. Thankful for a restful yet excited heart as we get to work within another fantastic year in OldhamAshton Deanery with Man Dio Growing Faith. Expectant for what God will do in this place that I call home.

I love these! I spotted them on my journey home and thought they were cool! Great to see BrianClarkeAcademy are the creatives behind such work.

The Holocaust Memorial Exhibition Manchester Cathedral was very impactful. A collective of people of different ages, faiths and races gathered to remember the Holocaust. It was a joy to work with St Anne's Royton as they learnt and reflected on the past, making ways for the future.

Pupils of BrianClarkeAcademy gathered to deepen their personal understanding of a bible story. There were many pauses and silences from the adults of this group, who sat in awe at the level of thinking that was coming from the youngers. Youthscape Jenny @ManchesterDYO

Last week in Arty Annies St Anne's Royton we explored the Collective Worship theme of the week, perseverance. We talked about personal challenges we might face, created art work around Philippians 4:13 and prayed for each other. The gang then made the staff team care cards.

Good to be with Mission Community 3 to discuss all things Experience Easter. Really great to have Ruth Gent MDGF Deanery Enabler Man South/Stretford and MDGF Deanery Enabler Man North/East to generate further ideas. Expectant to see what will take place for schools, the church and families during Easter. @ManchesterCWO OldhamAshton Deanery.

We had a great morning exploring Lent St Anne's Royton. The Arty Annies and 'We Are Faithful' teams planned and led their first Collective Worship and quizzed some of the KS2 on what they might give up or take on this Lent. The teams were great in their leadership, more to come!

What a Friday at Arty Annies St Anne's Royton . We welcomed some new faces and created our Lent display for the school which invites pupils to "Try something new". Some of Arty Annies have some questions on faith, what an opportunity help them to grow in faith.
