#LISC is about giving our Ss the opportunity to succeed. Today we have a writing assessment and I want them to remember that it is possible to work towards becoming "outstanding" authors. These are taken directly from our ruberic for Ss to refer to and build up their skills.

What a milestone for stage 3! Students using rubrics to self assess and reflect on their imaginative writing. Building mature, resilient, self-directed learners who can provide explicit and purposeful feedback to their peers. Feeling super accomplished as a teacher and leader!

Lurlene Mitchell A very uplifting day as a educator- seeing Stage 3 students peer assessing using rubrics to provide focused and timely feedback. The instant we walked into each classroom you could see & feel the engagement and deep understanding of their work and goals BelmoreSouthPS

A magical river view takes shape on the back of the school hall. 🌅 Students from Belmore South Public School can admire this lush landscape on the way to assembly. 🎨: Krimsone Street Art Murals #Mural #LoveWhereYouLearn

A spontaneous zoom session led by students with a ‘scavenger hunt’. We shared smiles, laughter and sighs of relief. For a moment we forgot about the pandemic. Sometimes it’s the simple things in life that are the most extraordinary.
