As a disabled person and a consultant clinical psychologist, I demand an end to the inhumane benefits system that makes people suicidal. We need a new politics of uplift, starting with stopping the divisive rhetoric between those in work and those not. #DisabledPeopleDemand 🪧💜

A lot of parents who have a child with  Autism have said to me how much they  worry if anything was to happen to them,  who would take care of their child?  Here is a thread on the things my mum  did for me before she passed away.  A thread 🧵🧵🧵  Please share! 👇🏻

Two new referrals this week. Spoken to the fellas and arranged a meetup with each of them. We try and meet them in a safe space for them, where they're familiar. This approach can eliminate as much anxiety as possible in the first instance. Thanks to #lscft & #socialprescribing

A referral today. A fella at rock bottom. Hit his final straw and a huge call for help. Good first contact and day 0 of the process. A lot of wellbeing support is exactly that. Non judgemental, open ears and seeing the need to walk their path with them.

WHAT A RIDE from Tom Pidcock! 🇬🇧 An incredible wheel-to-wheel performance to take #gold and defend his Olympic title for Great Britain in cycling men’s mountain bike cross-country! Team GB’s second gold of the day, and Pidcock’s second gold in this event after winning at Tokyo

Cannot comprehend what has happened in Southport today. A place I worked in for 13 years, only 15 minutes from my house and a place I know people who go/ have been there. The trauma for the survivors families & those of the poor children who perished is horrific.

I was listening to the radio this morning. We as a culture seem to be at our most negative between 4pm - 8pm. I can agree with that. So set your alarms &try and do something positive every day at 4pm. It could change your evening. Today I'll be watching a 3 min clip of #TimVine
