Day 1 CBEMR training for policy makers, CSOs representatives and academia in Maputo, Mozambique 🇲🇿 organised by Save Our Mangroves Now! and Mangrove Action Project together with Oceanographic Institute of Mozambique as contribution toward the National Mangrove Management Strategy 2020-2024


Site assessment with policy makers, CSO & academia at Muntanhana in Incomati Estuary, Maputo Bay at ongoing Community-Based Ecological Mangrove Restoration (CBEMR) training facilitated by Save Our Mangroves Now! and Mangrove Action Project. Learnt ecology, hydrology, social issues, and more


Final CBEMR training day in Maputo: Prof Antonio Hoguane made a keynote presentation on role of hydrology in mangrove conservation & restoration 💪🏾 Lots of knowledge gained including biophysical & socio-economic monitoring of mangrove sites thru SOMN3 partners & Mangrove Action Project
