Excellent, what number of Lesser Emperor? I've got a tour there in 2 weeks time. One day I will 📸 a perched male. Nice shots.

News to me via SBBOT that on the 19th June, a male BLACK DARTER was seen on the old hoverport at Pegwell. Keep those eyes peeled as Vagrant Emperors are in the UK, and surely Sandwich Bay is due a Scarlet Darter soon! British Dragonfly Society Adrian Parr Dave Smallshire

Quiet bird wise this morning at Nethergong but a singing Firecrest was unusual to hear her in June. 4 White-letter Hairstreak were notable though. NEW photos @ ngbirding.blogspot.com. KOS #kentbirding

Nice to find at least 7 Ringlet on the Downs this morning below Bishopstone Lane car park. The first I've seen in this area for c25 years of visiting. Butterfly Conservation 🦋 #UKwildlife
