In our recent article in Channels with the Diallinas lab we characterised two eukaryotic MscS-like channel proteins (MscA & MscB) in fungi. So Happy to share this fantastic piece of work spearheaded by Luis Carlos Tábara Rodríguez and PrudentLab. MTFP1 carries mitochondria with damaged cristae to the autophagic machinery and impedes their re-fusion with the mitochondrial network! Congratulations guys 🥳🎉
