It’s Interfaith Week & Islamophobia Awareness Month. With recent attacks on religious communities, we must stand up for each other. I’ve joined colleagues in calling for a clear definition of Anti-Muslim Hatred. Everyone has the right to practice their faith without fear.

The Government is expanding the Warm Home Discount to provide vital cost of living support for low income households/pensioners this winter. 280,000 more families in the North West will receive £150 off their energy bills, a 56% increase on the 500,000 who already recieve it.

David is absolutely right. This Bill finally delivers the accountability families should never have had to fight decades for — protecting ordinary people, ending cover-ups, and honouring victims of Hillsborough and so many other tragedies. We’ll ensure it passes as intended.
